SAFETY GUIDE

Movement on the road section used in the rally test with any vehicle, including bicycles or other light vehicles, is always handled in a controlled manner. When you get on the closed road, what is used on rally rest with a means of transport, it is expected at the destination, which you will be asked about when access to the road is allowed. If you get stuck along the route with your means of transport, e.g. on a bicycle, the test drive cannot continue until the road user leaves the road section to be used as notified by an official.

Try to avoid walking on the used road section, because the stewards are not able to control people walking on foot. It is very important not to wear headphones, hearing protection or ANY hearing-impairing devices when moving on foot. The sense of hearing should be used to observe the direction and distance of the rally car, so that You have time to position yourself in a safe place. The narrowness of the road is not a sufficient safety distance, and also never turn your back to an oncoming rally car or sit waiting for it.

ALWAYS THINK AHEAD, GET YOURSELF AN ESCAPE ROUTE, if the rally car goes off the road or if a tire comes off near you, You know where to run to.

If a rally car goes off the road and you witness it

1. Make sure that possible additional damage cannot occur

2. Ask for help, the nearest official/traffic control person is the primary target

3. Assist the steward and wait for further instructions, an ambulance is on duty at the service base

Prohibited locations on the road section used in the rally test are marked in red in the attached drawing (outer curves, entrances to jumps, crossing areas)

A tire or some other part of the rally car can bounce anywhere due to terrain and trees

THERE IS NO ANY SAFE SPOT TO SPECTATE RALLY TEST !

DISTANCE FROM THE USED ROAD IS ONLY THING WHAT CAN OFFER SAFETY
